Fortress Mountain 2019

It was a decent early September day for this hike, though the winds on the high ridges were a bit chilly. We saw only a few other hikers, and a small group by Chester Lake - a pretty quiet day. The trails were in good condition, and we completed the circuit of Headwall Lakes - Fortress - Chester Lake in 7 hours.
